Aging Wisely
WILLMAR Aging Wisely: Finding New Confidence and Purpose will meet at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 17, at the Willmar Community Center. The program is part of a series to help support the educational, social and nutritional needs of older adults. The topic for discussion will be “Expressing and Receiving Gratitude/Appreciation Can Influence Our Lives.” There will be time for sharing. New Mexico Aging and Long-Term Services Department’s (ALTSD) State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) offers New Mexico residents free, expert, unbiased information and assistance with their Medicare decisions. Get the information you need to make the best decision for your situation through these new, free virtual Medicare 101 workshop.
This program is the first of its kind for the state. The free Medicare 101 workshop will introduce Medicare beneficiaries, their caregivers and family members to the benefits and how to navigate the complexities of the program.
