US businesses are working with the federal government to produce guidelines on vaccine passports that will determine whether employers will require them from employees to show proof of a coronavirus vaccine before they head back to work.
The country has vaccinated 165 million people as of Monday, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). At least 106,214,924 people have had one dose. And 61 million, 18 percent of the population, are fully vaccinated.
