(Photo Credit: API SVG) This country, last Sunday, took possession of 40,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine Covishield (Indian) AstraZeneca. The vaccines are part of a shipment of 175,000 vaccines which landed in Antigua earlier on Sunday via chartered aircraft from Mumbai, for distribution to St. Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis, and St. Vincent & the Grenadines, and are a donation made by India’s government to the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and Suriname.

And on Wednesday it was reported that the High Command of the Royal SVG Police Force, including Commissioner of Police Colin John, had entered self-quarantine, this after Deputy Commissioner of Police Frankie Joseph had tested positive for COVIB-19.
