As the country is currently spearheading one of the world s largest vaccination drive, UP s Firozabad district administration has issued an order that states government employees will not receive their salaries unless they are vaccinated. This decision comes in a bid to encourage COVID vaccination. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also said that his government is eyeing a mammoth target of vaccinating over 90 lakh to 1 crore people in the month of June.

The third wave of coronavirus is on the wane and the government intended to gradually open up business activities, Planning Minister Asad Umar, who supervises the government’s unified strategy against the pandemic, said on Monday.
Umar, the head of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), revealed at a press conference that the positivity ratio of Covid-19 had declined to 4%, from almost 11% peak of the pandemic in the month of April.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has formally launched its locally manufactured PakVac COVID-19 vaccine today amid the ongoing global efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus pandemic, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) head Asad Umar and Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Faisal Sultan have addressed an event related to the launching of the locally-made PakVac COVID-19 vaccine.
Asad Umar said the coronavirus pandemic has become a challenge for the whole world and today’s top demand is COVID-19 vaccines. He said the situation of the pandemic in Pakistan was quite better by the grace of Allah Almighty as compared with the other countries. Umar said that neither any disease will care about any boundaries nor it discriminates any human’s family and religion.
