ALPENA District Health Department No. 4 Health Officer Denise Bryan told her board on Tuesday she has advocated strongly on behalf of Northeast Michiganders so the region can receive its share of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Bryan told the county commissioners from Alpena, Montmorency, Presque Isle, and Cheboygan counties that make up her board about many challenges she has encountered trying to secure vaccines from the state and setting up mass vaccination clinics for the public.
In order to accommodate a larger group of people, District Health Department Four has made a location change to the COVID-19 vaccination clinic scheduled for Presque Isle County Jan. 22."For those that have an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Presque Isle County on Friday, Jan. 22, it is at the Case Township Community Center in Millersburg," said Cathy Goike, certified health education specialist for District Health Department Four.The health department moved the vaccination
