Chairman of the group Hon. Muhammad Usman said there was the need to prioritize health not just at the federal level but also at the state and local government levels.
He said: “The most important thing is prioritization by government at all levels starting from the federal level, the states then local governments.

The Nigeria Governors’ Forum has reiterated its commitment to the procurement and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines for use in Nigeria.
This was part of resolutions reached by state governors after a virtual meeting held on Wednesday. A communiqué of the meeting which was signed by the Chairman of the NGF, Governor Kayode Fayemi, of Etiki State, was made public, on Thursday.
It read in part, “On the current conversation on the COVID-19 pandemic, which is focused on making vaccines available as soon as possible to Nigerians, the Chairman called on all relevant agencies and public-spirited organisations involved in the procurement of vaccines to work amicably to ensure that the vaccines arrive the country quickly.
Kayode Fayemi, was made available to newsmen on Thursday. The consensus, according to the communique, was reached following an update from governors on the various initiatives taken by state governments to address the rising insecurity in the country due to the activities of herdsmen. It stated that state governments were encouraged to put in place systems to accelerate the grazing initiative of the National Livestock Transformation Plan and ranching in the country.
