Prescription won’t be needed to buy Viagra in Ireland as tablets moved to over the counter sales

PEOPLE will soon no longer need to have a prescription to buy Viagra in Ireland, the Irish Sun can reveal.
The famous blue erectile dysfunction tablets are set to be moved to over-the-counter sales in pharmacies in the coming weeks.

Viagra Connect 50mg tablets will be sold in community pharmacies with no requirement to have a GP’s prescription.
And pre-diagnosis of erectile dysfunction by a doctor won’t be required before someone buys the member-hardening tablets.
The Health Products Regulatory Authority says a police investigation will be done to determine if a syndicate is operating in the country selling the drug Ivermectin for use against the coronavirus.

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani chaired a meeting with officials of the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) to discuss plans on tackling the second wave of COVID-19 and reforms here late on Monday evening at the Presidential Palace.
According to presidential palace press office, officials of the ministry briefed on various issues pertaining to efforts on tackling the second wave of coronavirus, oxygen producing plant, public awareness on COVID-19, structural overhaul, NTA salary scale and ordinary and development budget of the ministry.

NEW DELHI: India moved closer to the rollout of its vaccination plan against Covid-19 with the subject expert committee of the drug regulator on Friday recommending emergency-use authorisation (EUA) for Serum Institute of India s Covishield , developed by Oxford University and AstraZeneca.
Sources said the SEC s recommendations come with certain conditions like every recipient of the vaccine will be given a factsheet about the vaccine prior to vaccination. The company may also be asked to report adverse events every 15 days. The SEC has recommended EUA for 2 full doses of Covishield to be given with a gap of 4-6 weeks. The final marketing approval by the Drugs Controller General of India is still awaited.
