A brand new state-of-the-art Simulation and Clinical Skills Unit (SCSU) was recently launched at Stellenbosch University s (SU) Tygerberg Campus in Cape Town.
The spacious new facility at SU s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) boasts simulation rooms with state-of-the-art medical models and manikins; a simulated hospital ward and consultation rooms; and modern teaching venues equipped with high-tech video technology to assist students in developing clinical skills critical to the healthcare professions.

Online event emphasises on ‘Primary Healthcare & Practice of Dentistry’
Karachi: The committee of continuing dental education committee, Liaquat College of Medicine and Dentistry (LCMD), recently arranged an online webinar. The event was in collaboration with the Department of Health Professions Education (DHPE).
Prof. Dr Navid Rashid Qureshi, Associate Prof.
Dr Naheed Najmi and Secretary Prof. Dr Uzma Zareef supervised the event.
The webinar was moderated by Dr Munawer,
Assistant Prof., Department of Community Dentistry, LCMD.
Jinnah Sindh Medical University accredited the
webinar for CME hours.
The theme of the session was ‘Primary health
