J&K Admin To Conduct Oxygen Demand And Supply Audit SRINAGAR: Chief Secretary, B V R Subrahmanyam today chaired the maiden meeting of the COVID Apex Management Group to review the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation and accordingly calibrate strategies for its control and mitigation. To scientifically ascertain the medical oxygen demand in Jammu and Kashmir, the Chief Secretary directed a detailed audit of oxygen demand across all hospitals and medical institutions. He directed constitution of divisional level teams to conduct the audit within two days and specify the requirement of gaseous oxygen to meet the needs of patients in COVID facilities, non-COVID hospitals, private hospitals, and Army hospitals. It was impressed upon the concerned to also include in the audit the estimation for future increase in COVID dedicated beds taking the existing tally from 4200 to 7000; and facilities to be provided at COVID care centers with at least 7000 oxygen-supported beds.

Govt sanctions experience/loyalty bonus for contractual NHM staff: MD NHM

Jun 4, 2021 As per an order issued in this regard, sanction has been accorded for 10 per cent experience/loyalty bonus to those employees who have completed minimum three years of service under NHM. Moreover, employees who have already drawn the experience/loyalty bonus for the period of three years and completing five years of service during the financial year (2020-21), will be entitled to the deferential percentage (i.e 15-10) of 5 per cent of experience/ loyalty bonus. Choudhary Mohammed Yasin, Mission Director NHM, J&K while thanking Atal Dulloo, Financial Commissioner Health & Medical Education Department, for according formal approval for releasing the experience/ loyalty bonus in favour of NHM employees for recognition of their services said that the bonus will be drawn as arrears by all the DDOs which will be the part of monthly remuneration of NHM employees, which means that the base remuneration for the financial year 2020-21, would include the base salary as on March 31

AC approves 196 posts for State Cancer Institute Jammu AC approves 196 posts for State Cancer Institute Jammu High density plantation nurseries scheme cleared Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Apr 29: The Administrative Council (AC), which met here today under the chairmanship of Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, approved the proposal of the Health and Medical Education Department to create 196 posts for the State Cancer Institute (SCI) at the Super Specialty Hospital, Jammu. The new posts have been created to adequately meet the requirement of faculty, technical, paramedical and administrative staff of the cancer treatment institute coming up in the Union territory. To strengthen tertiary level cancer care facilities, the State Cancer Institute is being established at an estimated cost of Rs 120 crores under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme ‘National Programme for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, CVD, and Stroke (NPCDCS) .
