ROME CITY â With the 2020-21 school year nearly complete, the East Noble School Corp. is looking ahead to the 2021-22 year.
Superintendent Ann Linson updated the school board during Wednesday nightâs meeting on the safety protocols, which will be in place in anticipation of a continuation of the pandemic deeper into 2021.
âA lot can change between now and August,â Linson said. âWe are hoping things will be business as usual. To make that happen, we need more people to get the vaccine.â
For the most part, the plan presented for in-person learning mirrors the current plan in place.
âTo ensure the safety of our students, East Noble School Corp. will follow guidance and mandates provided by the Indiana Department of Health, Noble County Department of Health and the Indiana Department of Education,â Linson advised.

This year, 3 May marks the centenary of the creation of Northern Ireland, made up of six of Ulster’s nine counties (widely but wrongly referred to as “The Province”). It is not a time for celebration, even by Unionists, who support the UK.
Two books have now been added to the voluminous library devoted to this troubled land. One considers its uncertain future, the other how it became the killing field for the Irish Republican Army (IRA), “loyalist’ paramilitary groups, the British army, and the Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC the Northern Irish police force), aided and abetted by Britain’s domestic security agency, MI5.
