We once again have Andre Caldwell, a shareholder at Ogletree Deakins in Oklahoma City, to discuss this important issue. Mr. Caldwell began his career as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Western District of Oklahoma where he was assigned to the Violent Crime and Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force.
During his tenure, he was awarded the FBI Director’s award from FBI Director Robert Mueller for his outstanding prosecutorial skills. Andrew Hunt joins Greene County Prosecutor’s Office

XENIA Andrew Hunt has joined the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office as chief trial counsel in the criminal division, Prosecuting Attorney David Hayes announced Wednesday.
A lifelong resident of Greene County, Hunt graduated with honors from Wright State University and the University of Dayton School of Law. In 2001, he began his legal career at the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office as an assistant prosecutor and for six years, represented the State of Ohio in juvenile court and then common pleas court. Including child sexual abuse cases and murder cases, Hunt has tried more than 30 jury trials for the state.

TUCSON, Arizona The last of twenty-eight defendants charged in two sweeping investigations into the manufacture and distribution of the controlled substance commonly referred to as spice, a synthetic cannabinoid made with chemicals, was federally sentenced on December 10 in United States District Court.
The twenty-eight defendants were charged and convicted of a variety of crimes including conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance, conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance analogue, conspiracy to engage in interstate travel in aid of racketeering, conspiracy to commit mail fraud, introduction of misbranded drugs into interstate commerce, and money laundering.

Los Angeles, California - A federal grand jury has returned a 35-count indictment alleging that a Fashion District outfit was at the center of two schemes, one that avoided the payment of more than $10 million in customs duties on imported clothing, and a second “Black Market Peso Exchange” scheme in which the company laundered narcotics proceeds and failed to report on tax returns over $17 million derived from cash transactions.
