Police from the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC) have arrested and charged two men following an incident in McCook’s Pen, St Catherine on Saturday, January 9.
Charged with two counts of illegal possession of firearm and illegal possession of ammunition are 45-year-old Kevin Johnson, otherwise called ‘Prang’, an auditing clerk; and 44-year-old Mosias Douglas, otherwise called ‘Bredda Dawg’, a taxi operator, both of Love Lane, McCook’s Pen, St Catherine.
Reports are that about 6:30 pm, an operation was conducted in the area and a premises occupied by Johnson and Douglas was searched and a .22 calibre Carbine Rifle and a Smith and Wesson pistol with ten 9 mm cartridges were found in their possession.
