WHITE HALL, Ark. A man from White Hall, Arkansas has won $500,000 in Arkansas Lottery s Play It Again Drawing.
Sarabjit Singh says he received a letter in the mail informing him he had won $500,000 in the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery’s Play It Again drawing, and thought someone was playing a cruel trick on him.
“Honestly, I thought it was a scam,” he said. “I didn’t believe it until I called the number listed in the letter this morning.”

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery set a new record in sales for the month of January. There was an increased net of $62,935,697 for scholarships last month.
The field is set for proposed constitutional amendments that may be referred by the 93rd General Assembly for the 2022 general election. The state legislature can refer up to three proposed amendments for voter consideration every regular session.Talk Business and Politics reports the 43 amendment proposals range from restricting a proposed casino in Pope County to tort reform to recall elections and even the state legislature calling itself into a special session.
Some of the resolutions for consideration have details of their title, while others are “shell bills.” The “shell bills” will likely be amended to provide more details of their intentions.

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - One Craighead County resident is $2 million richer thanks to hitting the right numbers during Saturday’s Powerball drawing.
According to a news release from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, Carolyn of Jonesboro bought the winning ticket at the Quick Shop, 1325 S. Caraway Road.
She said she played the same numbers as before, Nos. 1 and 2 for her and her brother’s birthday with the other numbers, then let the computer randomly select the Powerball number.
