Construction of the Bella Vista Bypass March 24, 2021. (NWA Democrat-Gazette/Spencer Tirey) BENTONVILLE Construction to build the new Bella Vista Bypass interchange with U.S. 71/North Walton Boulevard and Interstate 49 requires lane closing on U.S. 71/Walton Boulevard beginning this evening, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation officials. Weather permitting, crews will alternately close lanes on U.S. 71/Walton Boulevard at the Bella Vista Bypass interchange, to enable bridge and traffic signal work. Various lanes will be closed during overnight hours beginning tonight. Work will conclude Thursday evening. • Wed., June 30, 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. • Thurs., July 1, 8 p.m. –too 11:59 p.m.
