Email Last month, the Arkansas Department of Human Services unveiled an application for a federal waiver to allow Arkansas to implement a revamped version of its Medicaid expansion program, currently known as Arkansas Works. The program, if approved by the federal government, would be named Arkansas Health and Opportunity for Me, or ARHOME. The Arkansas General Assembly approved enabling legislation for ARHOME earlier this year. In the latest installment of his column in the Healthcare Journal of Arkansas, ACHI President and CEO Dr. Joe Thompson discusses ARHOME and examines how it would seek to improve health outcomes for certain high-risk populations through an approach called Life360 HOMEs.
