TEXARKANA, Arkansas A man whose DNA is included in a database of convicted felons was arrested on a rape charge last month.
The profile of LePeter McDole, 34, allegedly returned as a match to a sample collected from a woman who reported an attack while walking last year.
McDole was arrested May 19 in connection with a sexual assault first investigated by Texarkana, Arkansas, police in October, according to a probable cause affidavit.

TEXARKANA, Ark. Arkansas State Police are still investigating circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting of a 37-year-old man by a Texarkana Arkansas Police officer at an apartment building shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday.
The man, identified as Don Crowson, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Miller County coroner, at which time his body was transported to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for determination of cause and manner of death.
A shooting involving a Texarkana Arkansas police officer resulted in the death of a man over the weekend.
The deceased man has been identified as 37-year-old Don Crowson. According to KSLA, officers received a call around 9:44 on Saturday, June 26, about a man in the 1100 block jumping up and down on a fence and pacing in the street while yelling that he was going to kill someone. The caller told the dispatcher the man appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
According to police, responding officers made contact with the man in an apartment on the 1100 block of Hickory Street. The police department statement was as follows.
