JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Improvements are coming to one highway in Craighead County in the next two to four weeks.
The Arkansas State Highway Commission awarded a $1,477,084.53 contract to Atlas Asphalt, Inc. of Batesville to resurface Highway 91 between Highway 349 and Highway 49 in Jonesboro.
The 8.1-mile project is expected to be completed in early 2021.

FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas A bid for improvements to a roadway in Washington County has been approved by the Arkansas State Highway Commission, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
The purpose of the project is to improve the Highway 16/112 Spur interchange of Wedington Drive and I-49.
It will include improvements to Wedington Drive between Salem Road and Futrall Drive, according to the City of Fayetteville.
