On the heels of an alleged scandal at Louisiana State University that alleges that officials mishandled sexual assault and rape allegations against former football players, some Louisiana lawmakers want severe repercussions for those in power that don t properly address these types of situations. Namely, they want whoever is responsible for dropping the ball fired.
The fallout of this scurrilous disgrace has reached well beyond the LSU campus, and was reportedly the cause of the University of Kansas head football coach (and former LSU Tigers head coach) Les Miles recent firing as well as the resignation of Oregon State president (and former LSU president) F. King Alexander. Surely these wont be the last names linked with this terrible affair.

The Barstool Fund Has Helped a 2nd Shreveport/Bossier Business
The Barstool Fund has struck in the SBC again!
Last week, I brought you the story about our very own Herby K s (home of the Shrimp Buster) being selected to receive a $5,000 donation from the Barstool Fund. In a time when local businesses (especially restaurants and bars) are having a near-impossible time keeping their heads above water, that s the kind of cash that can keep you in business.
Now, the good Samaritans at the Barstool Fund have selected another one of our favorite spots (this time in Bossier City) to receive this much-needed blessing. According to the ArkLaTex Homepage, End Zone Sports Bar got the word today that they would be getting assistance from the fund established in December of last year to help restaurants across the country.
