A school affected by ‘multiple reports’ of coronavirus cases has assured families it is taking all necessary steps to keep pupils safe.
Year 7 students at Ormiston Horizon Academy, in Chell, were asked to stay at home on Thursday and today (July 2). All those who test negative for Covid-19 will return to school on Monday next week.

A whole year group is learning at home today after two pupils at a Stoke-on-Trent school tested positive for coronavirus.
Ormiston Horizon Academy, in Chell, said both cases related to students from Year 8, although they are not thought to be connected.
