Verdi s Requiem to be performed at Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex
Armenia s State Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the Messa da Requiem by Giuseppe Verdi dedicated it to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide. The concert will take place at Ara Khachaturian Concert Hall on April 25, at 19:00.
As the press service at the Orchestra reported, the concert features world known soloists Ruzan Mantashyan, (soprano), Olesya Petrova (mezzo-soprano), Liparit Avetisyan (tenor) and Evgeny Stavinsky (bass). The concert will be conducted by Artistic Director and Principal Conductor at Philharmonic Orchestra Eduard Topchjan
The concert also features Armenian National Academic Choir led by Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Hovhannes Tchekidjian.
