NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Questions pop up after Jason Williams was sworn in as Orleansâ Parish District Attorney, Monday. A popular artist performing at the ceremony could be a possible conflict of interest for the new DA.
A Jazz Fest staple, New Orleans trombonist Glen David Andrews performed while out on bond, facing three open criminal court cases.
Behind a soulful and inspiring performance, Andrews has trial dates ahead of him as early as January 25th.
“To be clear … we will hold people who harm this community accountable. Let me say that again. We will hold people who harm this community accountable,” he said.
