NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans Police are investigating the death of a man following a vehicle crash Monday evening on I-10.
Officers responded to a call of a crash on I-10 eastbound near Poydras Street around 8:40 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, they found a man on the lower portion of the road at Poydras St. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans Police say a man was found stabbed to death on Gravier Street late Wednesday night.
Officers responded to a call in the 1600 block of Gravier St. around 11:40 p.m. after a man was found lying near the sidewalk unresponsive. EMS was called and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident was declared a homicide after it was discovered that the victim had multiple stab wounds.

NEW ORLEANS A man was stabbed to death and found in New Orleans Central Business District late Wednesday night, a police spokesperson said.
The victim was killed in the 1600 block of Gravier Street. He was found there after someone reported a man lying near the sidewalk. Police said the killing was a homicide.
After getting reports of a man down on the ground Wednesday night, police officers with New Orleans Police Department s Eighth District found the victim around 11:39 p.m.

The NOPD is investigating a homicide that occurred this evening in the 1600 block of Gravier Street that left one person dead.
At about 11:39 p.m. on December 16, 2020, NOPD Eighth District officers responded to a call of a subject down at the location. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive adult male victim lying near the sidewalk. EMS arrived on scene and declared the subject deceased. Through further investigation, the victim was found to have sustained multiple stab wounds. The incident was then reclassified as a homicide.
Investigators are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the person(s) responsible for this incident, as well as a motive. No additional details are available at this time.
A Chalmette man led St. Bernard Parish Sheriffâs Office deputies on a chase in a stolen truck early Sunday that ended when they used spike strips to stop him, the agency said.
Deputies said they arrested Woodrow Reed III, 55, after a pursuit that began when they spotted him with a 2017 Ford F-150 bearing an unreadable temporary tag about 3:30 a.m. Sunday. They tried to stop him but he sped through a residential neighborhood, ramming two patrol vehicles along the way, the Sheriffâs Office said.
Deputies used spike strips to disable the truck near a vacant lot at Delambert Drive and East Genie Street in Chalmette, the agency said. Reed fled on foot but deputies caught up with him and arrested him, according to the Sheriffâs Office.
