A new 52,000 square foot hospital is coming to the Central Florida area.
Encompass Health Corp. unveiled plans earlier this week for a 50-bed hospital they plan to build in Osceola County. The hospital will create 95 jobs, according to the Orlando Business Journal. The hospital will be built to be able to expand beyond just 50 beds.
The Birmingham based company also operates a Home Health center in Lakeland, Florida. A third Central Florida facility, a 83,000 square foot facility in Clermont, is being built by Encompass as well. The Clermont facility is set to open in 2022.
