An apparent skydiver ended up getting caught in a dangerous situation when their parachute became caught in the power lines of a California neighborhood. While the individual reportedly suffered minor injuries, rescue workers were able to safely remove them from the lines without further incident. The parachute became tangled in the lines around 11 in the morning on Tuesday in Riverside County. While it s unclear where the individual’s flight originated from, TDHere is a skydiving center near the area where the incident occurred. Rescue crews from the Riverside County Fire Department, Riverside County Sheriff’s Office and Southern California Edison responded to the scene. Workers for the power company cut the power to the lines and helped bring the individual down using their bucket lift.

SEPTEMBER 19 One of the sports memorabilia dealers who O.J. Simpson and his cohorts allegedly robbed at gunpoint was arrested today for a probation violation.
While details of Alfred Beardsley s violation have not been disclosed, the California warrant may be connected to a 2004 felony stalking conviction in Riverside County.

Agents say more than 35-pounds found hidden in spare tire
INDIO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents made a big drug bust in Indio early Thursday morning taking pounds and pounds of methamphetamine off the streets.
Agents say during a traffic stop, a drug-sniffing K-9 alerted them to a problem with a Nissan. They say the dog led them to the trunk, where agents say they found a suspiciously heavy spare tire. They say that tire, and a portable speaker, were all packed with packages of meth.
