Where can I park if my student is graduating at the Pavilion?
People will be expected to find public parking in the downtown core during the graduation ceremonies. SPS has also said it will be releasing more information on a regular shuttle service that will run from North Central High School.
What if a guest needs a special accommodation?
Students, guests or staff members who need a special accommodation will need to contact their school in advance. An interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing will also be at every graduation ceremony.
Will there be time to take photos with the graduates at the Pavilion?

Karen Rae Phifer, 77, formerly of La Grande, died Dec. 16, 2020, in Springfield, after a short illness. A quiet burial will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in La Grande May 22 at 2 p.m., followed by a gathering at the Riverside Park Pavilion at 3 p.m. Masks are requested.
Karen was born March 21, 1943, to Raymond and Frieda (Kennedy) Gray, in their family home on Cedar Street in La Grande. Karen was active in many clubs and activities. She graduated from La Grande High School in 1961. She continued her education at the University of Oregon, where she explored her love of art and dance and graduated with a bachelorâs degree in education.

Legendary Kentucky rockers My Morning Jacket announced their first proper tour in five years on Tuesday.
Kicking off on Aug. 27 at Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre in Charlotte, N.C., and concluding Nov. 4-6 with a three-night stand at Chicago s Auditorium Theatre, My Morning Jacket s upcoming trek includes previously announced festival plays at Kentucky s Railbird (Aug. 28), Tennessee s Bonnaroo (Sept. 4) and Southern California s Ohana (Sept. 24).
The band will also play amphitheaters including Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md., and theaters such as Seattle s Paramount, where it ll log two nights Oct. 1-2.

Wilco and Sleater-Kinney announced they were teaming up for a co-headlining tour that would start in the Inland Northwest. That was mere days before lockdown restrictions took the ax to just about every live music event in the country, and that tour was hastily rescheduled and then eventually canceled.
