After forming its India entity, Tesla is going to be setting up a manufacturing facility in India, in the state of Karnataka. The news comes from Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa who announced the manufacturing facility in a statement given in Kannada. American firm Tesla will open its electric car manufacturing unit in Karnataka, Yediyurappa said in a statement. He added that an industrial corridor will be set up in the Tumkur district neighbouring Bangalore at a cost of Rs 7,775 crore.
