Allan Gray opens applications for high school scholarship

The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation is calling on young learners to begin creating change, by applying for the Foundationâs High School Scholarship.
The scholarship is dedicated to developing the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Pupils who are in need of financial assistance are encouraged to apply.
A statement released by the foundation said: âThe Foundationâs partner schools across South Africa offer quality education and if the applicant is accepted, scholars will be placed at one of these partner schools which provides access to a good education, extra mural activities, and boarding facilities where needed.â

When I first heard the term ‘personal branding’, I thought it was complete rubbish. To me, it sounded like: You have to fit into a certain box to be accepted into a specific environment, so contort and mould yourself until you fit nice and tight into that box.
I am a very authentic person – what you see is what you get – so I physically and emotionally could not bring myself to be something that I am not. I decided to bow out of the whole conversation. I thought I needed to find an environment where I could just be me and let my work do the talking.
