EastEnders actor Davood Ghadami is joining BBC One medical drama Holby City after his character on Albert Square, Kush Kazemi, was axed.
Davood has filmed his final scenes on EastEnders, and Kush s exit will air next week but remains shrouded in mystery.
With many of his fans wondering what his next move will be, Holby City has now announced he will be joining as Eli Ebrahimi, a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon, later this year. I am absolutely thrilled to be joining such a brilliant show, said Davood.
