The five year old had originally set herself a daunting task of pushing her scooter five miles raising funds for the dedicated medical teams who treated a new born baby. But determined Freya actual trundled an extra mile and notched up a whopping £947.50p for Alder Hey Childrens Hospital in Liverpool. The hospital team had treated baby Millie Burrows-Maynard whose parents Jenni and Alex are long time friends of Fraya’s mother, Jenny, who lives in Delph. Millie suffered medical complications but after anxious weeks of treatment is now fully restored to good health.

Alder Hey Successfully LIVE with New NHS 111 First Solution via MEDITECH EPR Alder Hey Successfully LIVE with New NHS 111 First Solution via MEDITECH EPR Alder Hey Childrens Hospital (Liverpool, UK) recently went LIVE with a new emergency department solution integrated into its MEDITECH Electronic Patient Record (EPR), enabling direct appointment scheduling from NHS 111, NHS 111 Online, and various national services. They are the first healthcare organisation in the region to develop and incorporate this type of solution within its EPR. The fully integrated solution is a result of collaboration between Alder Hey, MEDITECH, North West Ambulance Service, Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group, and WASP Software Ltd.
