Date Time Third man charged after two people stabbed – Lavington A third man has now been charged after two people were stabbed at Lavington earlier this month. About 8pm (Friday 11 December 2020), a man entered a home in Wagga Road, Lavington, and allegedly stabbed a 38-year-old woman with a kitchen knife. The 44-year-old man, who was known to the woman, was then allegedly attacked by two men at the front of the home. The man sustained multiple stab wounds and was taken to Albury Hospital – under police guard – in a critical condition. The woman was treated in Albury Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries

About 11.25pm (Monday 28 December 2020), officers from the Bathurst Highway Patrol sighted an unregistered car travelling on Gilmour Street, Kelso. The driver allegedly failed to stop when directed, with police initiating a pursuit. It is alleged the car reached a speed of about 150km/h in the 50km/h zone. A short time later, the vehicle stopped in Marsden Lane, where the male driver was arrested. A female passenger was also in the car.
