A Very Early Look at the 2021 NHL Draft for the NJ Devils Fan

The team’s COVID-19 Protocol List broke out to as many as 19 players as games over the past two weeks were postponed. Good news may be imminent. The team re-opened their training facility on Thursday, Sunday night’s update saw the list go down to just five players, and the Devils are expected to have practice on Monday. The Devils may actually get to play some games this week. Of course, with no games or team activities, there is not a whole lot to discuss. Prince George Free Press » Cougars get Inglis for bantam draft pick

The Prince George Cougars have added another forward. On Monday, general manager Dallas Thompson announced the acquisition of 18-year-old forward Charles Inglis from the Saskatoon Blades, in exchange for the Cougars’ second-round selection in the 2011 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft. Inglis played 137 regular season games for the Blades, recording 30 goals and 26 assists for 56 points. He’s also compiled 158 penalty minutes. Listed at six feet and 183 pounds, Inglis is a product of Winnipeg. He was selected fourth overall by the Blades in the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft and will be attending Phoenix Coyotes training camp later this week. Inglis was a member of Team West at the 2009 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Port Alberni.

Jacob and Butler are the latest players to be traded as the uncertainty around the start of the Ontario Junior Hockey League season continues. Jacob will be headed to the Maritime Junior Hockey League to represent Grand Falls, New Brunswick. He finished off last season with 19 points and had four points during exhibition games before the holiday break.
