Calabar, Dec. 27, 2020 Gov. Ben Ayade of Cross River has urged Nigerians to practice the teachings of Pastor William Kumuyi, General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM), for peace in the nation.
Ayade made the appeal on Sunday at the last day of the 2020 DCLM, December Retreat in Akpabuyo Local Government Area (LGA) of Cross River.
The 2020 DCLM December Retreat which is an annual event commenced on Dec. 24 to Dec. 27 with the theme “Turning Bitterness To Sweetness’’.
The governor who was represented by the Chairman of Akpabuyo LGA, Mr Emmanuel Bassey, encouraged Nigerians and members of the church present at the DCLM Camp Ground in Akpabuyo to go home with the sermon of the General Superintendent.

Solomon Ndidi, the Principal of Deeper Life High School, Akwa Ibom State, has been suspended by the school management over the alleged molestation of one of the pupils.
Deeper Life High School is owned by the popular Pentecostal church, The Deeper Christian Life Ministry. The school has its headquarters in Lagos, South-west Nigeria.
Deborah Okezie, the parent of a junior secondary school one student allegedly molested, had in a Facebook video made a series of claims.
According to the woman, her son was starved, as well as molested by some senior students of the school.
She said that her son told her that Mr. Ndidi moved him to the senior pupils’ hostel for urinating on his bed.

The principal of a Deeper Life college in Uyo, Akwa Ibom where a junior student was said to have been sexually molested by some senior students has been suspended.
A woman, Deborah Okezie, had posted a video on Facebook where she cried out that her 11-year-old son, a JSS1 student of Deeper Life High School, Uyo, was sexually molested by his seniors when her son was switched from his hostel to another hostel filled with senior students.
She said her son was frequently starved and beaten up by the senior students.
The victim was moved by the school principal from a hostel where other junior students stayed, to another hotel filled with senior students because he was bedwetting, Mrs Okezie said in the clip which went viral on Facebook.
