OSHKOSH - The Christian music festival Lifest will return to Oshkosh after it was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The festival will take place July 8-11 at Sunnyview Expo Center in Oshkosh. The festival has been held at the expo center since 1999 but was canceled in 2020 because of the pandemic.
Acts are still being added to the lineup, which so far includes Newsboys, Skillet, Matthew West, Crowder, Matt Maher and Zach Williams.
“We are very excited to bring Lifest back to Oshkosh this summer,” said Bob Lenz, founder of Life Promotions, which runs the festival. “Lifest is a party with a purpose, and that purpose is to join others in the gospel and unite with the body of Christ through music.”

OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) Thanks to an anonymous donor, the Oshkosh Area School District received $100,000 toward enhanced education.
The funds will be used this year and into the future to support new and innovative programming through teacher-driven funding requests that fall outside a school’s budget.
“We are truly humbled and grateful for this generous donor who appreciates what the Oshkosh Education Foundation does for students, staff, and schools in the Oshkosh Area School District,” said Theresa Duren, Oshkosh Education Foundation Director. “This remarkable gift will provide a lasting impact for many years to come.”
Previously, the Foundation has provided financial support to various student-focused initiatives including the new Fab Lab at Oshkosh North High School, Grab-and-Go Meals for those in need, and grants for teachers.
