Female Arrested in Ashland County for Allegedly Stabbing Husband Multiple Times

Fox21Online July 30, 2021 ASHLAND COUNTY, Wis. – A female has been arrested in Ashland County for allegedly stabbing her husband multiple times during an altercation. According to the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office, authorities responded to an “open-air” call of a male and female screaming around 2:09 a.m. Friday. When authorities called the number back they were told by a male that he had been stabbed. When deputies arrived at the scene they discovered a male with multiple stab wounds. The male was transported to a local medical facility in stable condition. The female spouse of the victim was taken into custody at the scene.

Relay For Life fundraiser in Ashland aims to beat cancer

Ashland Times Gazette ASHLAND – Relay For Life will hold its first fundraiser event this year on Saturday at the Ashland County Fairgrounds. Event leader Sunshine Imhoff s main mission for Relay For Life is simple: Raise money for cancer research and help cancer patients. Seventy-five participants are registered for the event, Senior Development Manager Gina Hart said via email.  The Relay For Life began in 1985 and is a movement dedicated to helping communities attack cancer, Hart said in the email response.  Together, we celebrate, we remember and we fight back against this disease which affects so many families. When we rally together in the fight against cancer, we can accomplish anything.  

Ashland Man Arrested In Fatal Hit Skip Accident

Jul 22, 2021 Troopers Investigating Fatal Hit-Skip Crash Troy Township – Troopers are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian that occurred along Township Road 1031 in Troy Township, Ashland County at approximately 2116 hours on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Jennifer Lynne Boreman, 40 years old from Nova, Ohio, was walking her dog with two juveniles along Township Road 1031 when she was struck by a passing vehicle. The dog and one of the juveniles were also struck. The vehicle continued southbound on Township Road 1031 and failed to stop after the crash. Ms. Boreman was pronounced deceased at the scene. The injured juvenile was transported to Rainbow Babies and Children in Cleveland, Ohio. The uninjured juvenile was transported to University Hospital Ashland for evaluation and released.
