The Ashland-Boyd County Health Department announced nine new cases of COVID-19 and a COVID-positive death on Monday. There have been 74 COVID-positive deaths involving Boyd County residents to date.
Of the nine new cases â which includes three daysâ worth of positive tests (April 10-12)ââ eight were in home isolation. One â a 74-year-old female â is hospitalized.
There have been 4,707 coronavirus cases in Boyd County overall, including 3,010 recoveries.
The Greenup County Health Department announced 22 new cases from April 10-13, pushing the countyâs tally to 3,563 ââ3,425 have recovered and 52 have died after having tested positive.
The Ashland-Boyd County Health Department announced 13 additional cases of COVID-19 on Friday. The release listed cases counted from Tuesday through Friday. The health department reported another COVID-positive death involving a Boyd County resident â a 66-year-old male has died after having tested positive.
A 35-year-old male is in hospital isolation. The other 12 patients â seven males, ages 6, 7, 23, 26, 38, 45 and 60, and five females, ages 21, 38, 55, 59 and 61 â are in respective home isolation.
There have been 4,659 COVID-19 cases in Boyd County, including 2,978 recoveries and 73 COVID-positive deaths.
