W SERIES driver Jessica Hawkins has joined the Aston Martin Formula One team as their new driver ambassador.
Alongside her new role, Hawkins will compete in this year’s W Series, the international Formula Three championship for female drivers only, which is scheduled to run races in support of eight Formula One grands prix in 2021.
The 26-year-old from Poole raced in the inaugural 2019 edition and has also worked extensively as a stunt driver, including in the forthcoming James Bond film No Time to Die.
Hawkins said on astonmartinf1.com: “I am incredibly excited to be joining Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One team as its new driver ambassador and I am really looking forward to working with Lance Stroll, Sebastian Vettel, Nico Hulkenberg and the rest of the team.
