Below is a list of services available. Helping those still needing emergency assistance due to winter storm Volunteers and the Austin Disaster Relief Network are meeting to try to help some families and people who still need help. Stephen Brewer, Associate Director of ADRN, has details. WATER Residents that are still without water at an apartment, condominium, or multifamily complexes are encouraged to call 3-1-1 to report the outage so Austin Code can work with property management to ensure repairs are made.

Austin Disaster Relief Network to host intake center on Friday & Saturday Staff Report Below is a press release from the Austin Disaster Relief Network regarding the intake center for winter storm assistance. AUSTIN  Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN) will operate an Intake Center later this week to assist residents impacted by Winter Storm Uri. Trained and badged ADRN Volunteers will meet with families and individuals who need emergency assistance with food, gas, housing, and repairing damage to their homes in the wake of the frigid conditions that blanketed our region in recent weeks. These skilled volunteers will help to connect residents with available resources including FEMA support and funds donated

Photo by Katie Friel Thousands of Austin residents are still dealing with burst pipes, busted water heaters, and dead landscaping following last month s crippling winter storms. As residents clean up and pay for costly repairs, the city has launched a series of initiatives to help with everything from water distribution to paying for plumbing. Emergency home repair funding On March 1, the City of Austin rolled out the Emergency Home Repair program to help low-income residents pay for repairs after Winter Storm Uri. Funding is available up to $10,000 and is only available for damage sustained during the storms.
