Sandilands appears to have picked up a chest infection from co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.
He told her this morning: “I would rather you give me AIDS than whatever you’ve given me here. This is horrible.”
Henderson admitted she should have gone to the doctor, however was drawn into the office last week to witness the controversial Most Beautiful Penis Pageant.
In addition to boasting about being able to smoke on air from his own offices, Sandilands predicted his high-tech operation would be the future home of the duo’s radio show.
ARN drops music-focussed TVC for 96 FM Perth

Australian Radio Network (ARN) has unveiled its first TVC for 96 FM Perth since the departure of Fred Botica, but replacement Dean ‘Clairsy’ Clairs and co-host Lisa Shaw play no part.
Instead, the network has chosen to highlight the station’s music strategy, with the positioning ’40 Years of Real Music’ in the TVC.
ARN said the commercial was based on research conducted with 96 FM listeners, which found that its ‘Real Music’, which stands the test of time, elicits a physical response when listening.
The creative team focussed in on the idea of this physical response when creating the campaign, drawing on the station’s 40 year history.

Mumbrella Awards 2021 shortlist, Merrick Watts to host the gala event

The shortlist for the 2021 Mumbrella Awards has been announced, with The Monkeys and Special Group among the top nominations.
With 11 nominations, The Monkeys received two nods in the Mumbrella Award for Insight, TV Ad of the Year and Social Idea of the Year categories, as well as nominations in Best Use of Real-Time Marketing, Creative Agency of the Year and Ad Campaign of the Year.
Meanwhile, Special Group earned ten nominations across categories including TV Ad of the Year, Content Marketing Strategy of the Year, Social Idea of the Year, Best Use of Real-Time Marketing, and the Mumbrella Awards for Bravery, Insight and Innovation.
