Rishi Sunak unveiled the move in today s Budget following talks with Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden, who last year secured a £1.57billion bailout for the industry.
In today s Budget, the Chancellor Rishi Sunak will extend the job protection scheme for an extra five months beyond the current deadline at the end of April.
The £150million Community Ownership Fund will provide grants of up to £250,000 to help rescue boozers and other assets that are at threat of closing permanently.
