Sources in Paris claimed yesterday that the French government will delay a deal on financial services between Britain and Brussels unless Boris Johnson grants European fishermen greater access.
But the Prime Minister s Official Spokesman said a deal on financial services is in the best interests of both sides as he took aim at the EU for failing to use the mechanisms of our new treaty to solve problems .
