THE UK Prime Minister is holding a press conference, following rising coronavirus cases, later today. Boris Johnson s press conference will take place at 4pm, following emergency talks with cabinet members about the situation. This follows news earlier in the week of a new variant of coronavirus which can spread more rapidly according to chief medical officer for England Professor Chris Whitty. The move comes amid reports that the Prime Minister could order new travel restrictions for South East England in an attempt to stop it spreading to the rest of the country.
