Britain s Queen Elizabeth has stepped in to settle a problem over what senior royals should wear to her husband s funeral, because of concerns about whether Prince Harry and Prince Andrew should wear military uniforms, media reported on Thursday.
Prince Philip died aged 99 last week and his funeral will be held at Windsor Castle on Saturday. Traditionally at such formal occasions, members of the royal family wear military uniforms, often reflecting honorary titles they hold.

LONDON, April 12 The death of Prince Philip has left a huge void for his wife Queen Elizabeth and Britain has lost its “grandfather”, his son Prince Andrew said yesterday, as tributes poured in and the royals thanked the public for its support.
Andrew joined his siblings Charles, Anne and Edward in saying they had taken strength from the outpouring of affection and would rally around their mother in her time of grief.

Prince Philip, the 99-year-old husband of Queen Elizabeth, returned to their Windsor Castle residence after leaving hospital on Tuesday, a witness told Reuters.
The prince, who had spent four weeks in hospital, waved as he was driven into the royal residence to the west of London where his wife has been during his hospital stay.
The witness said the duke left the King Edward hospital shortly after 10.30am on Tuesday.
I haven`t spoken to him yet but I will do, William, 38, said.
Asked by a reporter if the royal family was racist, William said: We`re very much not a racist family.
In the two-hour show, Meghan also said the royals had ignored her pleas for help while she felt suicidal, while Harry said his father, heir-to-the-throne Prince Charles, had let him down and that he had felt trapped.
On Tuesday, Buckingham Palace issued a statement on behalf of Queen Elizabeth, the princes` grandmother, in which she said the family were saddened by how challenging the couple had found the last few years.
