Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) is warning the public against buying and selling Isuzu-branded cars without authorization.
The company in a notice said that it found individuals and entities selling Isuzu-branded cars, adding that those found infringing the trademark will be prosecuted.
“All violators must cease and desist from conducting unlawful acts, which includes unauthorized sale, offering for sale, distribution, importation, advertising, and other preparatory steps necessary to carry out the sale of goods or services,” IPC said.
IPC is the only authorized Philippine distributor and assembler of Japanese car manufacturer Isuzu Motors Limited (IML), which owns the Isuzu trademark in the Philippines and globally.

Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), the exclusive assembler, importer, and distributor of brand-new Isuzu commercial vehicles (CVs) and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) in the country, has once again come out on top in the joint sales report of the Truck Manufacturers Association Inc. (TMA) and the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc (CAMPI) covering the period from January to December 2020.
The report showed that IPC sold 2,322 units of its N-Series light duty trucks, cornering the top spot in Category III with a 53% market share. It also led Category IV by selling 1,064 units of its F-Series medium-duty trucks, for a 38% share. It was no different in Category V, where the C&E-Series heavy-duty trucks lorded over the competition by selling 320 units for a 35% share. Combined, IPC’s overall commercial vehicle (CV) sales in Categories III, IV and V accounted for 3,707 units, or 45.2% of the market share.

A new Isuzu dealership will open in the heart of Bacoor, Cavite. Last January 29, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) and the Isuzu Automotive Dealership Inc (IADI) signed a contract for the soon-to-open Isuzu Bacoor dealership.
The official contract signing was held at IPC s headquarters in Binan, Laguna. There, key personnel from IPC and IADI attended the event. These included IPC president Hajime Koso, IPC executive vice president Shojiro Sakoda, IADI executive chief operating officer Alex Pagulo, and Isuzu Bacoor Branch Head Valence Mauricio.
“I would like to thank IADI for supporting our expansion project and complying with our Isuzu Outlet Standardization or IOS. Rest assured that Isuzu will continue the years with the same spirit of achieving great success,” said Koso.
