You could win over $450,000 on Friday, if you have a ticket for Thunder Bay’s 50/50 draw.
The draw is to raise money for the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre to buy important equipment, and it says Thursday night at 11:59 is the final moment to get tickets for May’s draw.
Since the monthly draw started in January, the hospital has bought three specialized ICU beds, a ventilator and defibrillator, and raised over $2-million.
The hospital adds one person who bought tickets had heart surgery, and gave her a few more years with her family. Another individual said she’s not a regular lottery buyer, but this helps the hospital.
