The take-home jackpot has grown by nearly $150,000 since Wednesday morning, with tickets still being sold until midnight on Thursday. The jackpot currently stands at more than $820,000.

Kenora Area And Thunder Bay Remain Regional COVID Hotspots

There are 97 active cases of COVID within the Northwestern Health Unit’s catchment area. Most are in the Kenora area and connected to the outbreak at Wabaseemoong Independent Nations. There’s one case in the Rainy River district that was reported by the Health Unit on Sunday. There are 257 active cases within the Thunder Bay District Health Unit. The surge in coronavirus cases impacting the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre. There are 19 patients in its COVID-19 unit so far, including five in intensive care. Officials say the hospital is at 92 percent capacity and has expanded the COVID-19 ward to 21 beds.
