The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting 12 new cases of COVID-19 today.
Half of them come from the Emo area.
There were also four positive results in Fort Frances and one each in the Dryden and Kenora Health Hubs.
The number of active cases in the Health Hubs dropped one to 70; Kenora: 29, Fort Frances: 17, Emo: 14, Dryden: 5, Sioux Lookout: 4, Red Lake: 2, Rainy River: 1
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit stands at 66 active cases after six new cases Tuesday.
Two were related to travel outside Northwestern Ontario.

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has now vaccinated more than 40 per cent of those eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccine.
The health unit says 56,238 people have received one dose of the vaccine, 41 per cent of the 137,728 people currently 16 and older in the district. Of the entire population of the District of Thunder Bay, 34.6 per cent have received at least one shot.
Across Ontario, as of Monday night the number is 29.4 per cent, according to the COVID-19 Tracker.
A total of 7,879 people in Thunder Bay District received their first dose in the week that ended this past Saturday, 18 more than the week prior.

Ten new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the Thunder Bay district on Monday.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) said five of the cases were due to close contact, three have no known exposure, and two were the result of travel outside of northwestern Ontario.
All 10 of Monday s cases are in Thunder Bay and surrounding areas.
Eight cases were listed as resolved; there are currently 69 confirmed, active cases of the virus in the district.
THUNDER BAY The number of COVID-19 patients receiving treatment in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre continues to fall.
TBRHSC reported on Monday that it now has only seven patients who have tested positive for the virus.
This is two fewer than on Friday.
Only one of the COVID patients is currently in the intensive care unit.
The hospital also reported that, over the past week, it has received no patient transfers from other parts of Ontario.
TBRHSC has contingency plans to accept patients from other hospitals if directed by the Ontario Critical Care Command Table.
The hospital s current occupancy rate is 80 per cent.
