STILLWATER, Okla. – Cade Cunningham hit a jumper with 21 seconds left to give Oklahoma State a two-point lead then sank two free throws with three seconds left to seal an 81-77 victory over Arkansas Saturday afternoon as part of the annual SEC-Big 12 Challenge.
The second half featured four of the six lead changes and 11 of the 13 ties.
Arkansas went up 67-64 on a 3-pointer by Connor Vanover with 6:28 left in the game. Inside the final three minutes, Moses Moody tied the game, 73-73, on a dunk and Davonte Davis knotted the game, 77-77, with 1:18 left.

Oklahoma State was handed a postseason ban for the 2020-21 season by the NCAA for recruiting violations. OSU has appealed the postseason ban and awaits an answer from the NCAA. As long as that appeal process is going on, Oklahoma State is still eligible for postseason play. The Cowboys have been very good this year. Their first losses came by 3 points or less and Baylor beat them by 15 without Cade Cunningham. If a few of those games had gone a different way, OSU would be ranked well within the Top 25.
The Razorbacks, winners of three straight, improve to 13-4 overall and 5-4 in the SEC.
Arkansas held the Rebels to a season-low 59 points. Ole Miss missed its first 14 3-point attempts and was just 1-of-16 from long range in the game. The 6.3% was the lowest by a Razorback opponent in Musselman’s two years at Arkansas and the lowest overall by an opponent since Mississippi State was 0-of-10 from beyond the arc in 2005.
On the other end, Arkansas scored 74 points versus an Ole Miss team that ranked 17th in the NCAA in scoring defense (61.5 ppg). For the second straight game, Arkansas shot over 40 percent from the 3-point line, making 7-of-17 (41.2%) versus the Rebels.
