COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– According to South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, a Camden man is facing charges related to the sexual exploitation of a minor. Authorities say 30-year-old Robert Vause Tasney was arrested on Thursday and has been charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, second degree and 15 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, third degree. Officials say each count is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
Investigators say they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, leading them to Tasney. Officials say Tasney possessed and distributed files of child sexual abuse material.

Richard Owen Ditmars, 47, Minot, is charged in district court in Minot with 10 counts of Class C felony possession of child pornography and one count of Class B felony promotion of a sexual performance by a minor child, according to Minot police.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Ditmars had illegal images and videos on his phone and had allegedly emailed some of the images to a Yahoo account in January.
The arrest came after an investigation by the Minot Police Department and North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Both agencies are members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, a national network of 61 coordinated task forces representing more than 4,500 federal, state, and local law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies.

CAMDEN, S.C. (WIS) - A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the sexual exploitation of a minor.
Investigators say they received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that led them to Robert Vause Tasney.
Officials say Tasney possessed and distributed files of child sexual abuse material. He was taken into custody by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force on March 11.
Tasney has been charged one count of 2nd-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and 15 counts of 3rd-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

CECIL, WI (WTAQ) – One man has been arrested by the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, on probable cause of child pornography possession.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office says it arrested Derek Metzenbauer, who is currently being held at the Shawano County Jail.
Deputies say they also found marijuana and other drug paraphernalia on him during the arrest.
The arrest follows an investigation, which included a search warrant on Metzenbauer’s home and forensic analysis of electronic devices recovered.
The probable cause lists 65 counts of possession of child pornography.
Metzenbauer is currently a registered sex offender with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry, related to a North Carolina conviction for taking indecent liberties with a child.
