Facebook Share BAY CITY, MI Just after his 78th birthday, a Bay City man learned he will spend at least two years in prison on a child pornography charge. Bay County Circuit Judge Joseph K. Sheeran on Monday, Dec. 21, sentenced Gerald D. Eichinger to concurrent terms of two to 15 years and two to 10 years in prison. Sheeran gave Eichinger credit for three days already served in jail. Sheeran also ordered Eichinger to pay $326 in court costs and fines.

Conshohocken man faces trial on child porn charges

NORRISTOWN — A Conshohocken man must answer to charges in Montgomery County Court that he allegedly possessed child pornography, including sexual-related images of girls under the age of 12. Jorvan Axel Ramos-Martinez, 23, of the 800 block of East Elm Street, was ordered to stand trial, after waiving his preliminary hearing before District Court Judge Deborah Lukens, on multiple charges of possessing child pornography in connection with alleged incidents that occurred in September. Ramos-Martinez remains free on $25,000 unsecured bail while awaiting his next court hearing, a formal arraignment on the charges in county court. After he is formally arraigned next month, a county judge will set a trial date.

Local detectives investigate child pornography claims from task force

The Daily Jeffersonian Guernsey County sheriff s detectives acting on a referral from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force continued to investigate alleged child pornography offenses carried out by two individuals. The alleged victim is not a resident of Guernsey County, according to authorities. The investigation is focused on a 48-year-old woman who resides in Senecaville and a 38-year-old man whose home address remained unknown as of press time. No charges had been filed as of press time Monday. According to reports from the Guernsey County Sheriff s Office, the agency received a referral from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force at approximately 10:24 a.m. Friday and an investigation was launched by detectives.
