As previously announced, American begins daily service today from JFK to Rio de Janeiro (GIG), using 219-seat Boeing 767-300s configured with 28 Business Class and 191 Economy Class seats. In addition, American begins two daily flights from JFK to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), both using a 140-seat Boeing Super MD-80.
